Bow Windows Bookshop is a renowned seller of fine antique books and maps and well established in the UK and overseas markets. BLACKLIGHT were tasked with updating the brand whilst keeping the history of both the business and the customer base. The new brand is based on traditional, classic typography working together with a modern logo aesthetic.
BLACKLIGHT were tasked with updating the Bow Windows identity whilst not loosing sight the traditions and history of a well established, successful business.
BLACKLIGHT also designed the Bow Windows website. Our aim was to revitalise the look of the website whilst still giving users the great experience they have come to expect.
We rebranded business cards, letterheads, forms, packaging labels, bookmarks and tote bags giving Bow Windows the complete rebranding in print as well as online.
We redesigned the full range of Bow Windows printed media and created a brand identity which would look equally good in colour or black and white so that Bow Windows could adapt to any printing needs.
Working with established businesses creates different challenges from creating fresh brands. Bow Windows required an understanding of the history of the business in order to create a fresh, revitalised brand that would not loose sight of the customer base.
BLACKLIGHT understood exactly what we were after and were able to update our identity whilst being sensitive to the history of the business – Jon Menzes, Owner, Bow Windows Bookshop
Rebranding a successful antique book business in the heart of Lewes. Bow Windows Bookshop is recognised in the UK and international markets and required a total reworking of all stationary, shop assessories and packaging. BLACKLIGHT also took the rebrand across to the online shop to ensure the consistency and professional approach that customers around the world have come to expect.
